👋 Welcome to my personal site! This is my little slice of the internet, where I hope to document my journey as a developer, student and human being.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay!
My first experience with coding was when I was 13. A school project required us to research and present on a topic: I still remember we did ours on ADHD as one of our members had recently gotten diagnosed.
At the end of the semester-long project, every group was required to do a project summary and reflection in the form of a website. Naturally, everyone looked towards website builders like Wix and Wordpress.
For some reason, the Wordpress watermark at the bottom of the page really bothered me, and I decided to "code" our own website. By code, I meant I went onto HTML5 UP, downloaded a template, and changed the lorem ipsum to fit our needs, and hosted it on our school's server.
Nearly a decade after, and although I haven't coded much in-between, I still love the Web. After all, it's where things happen.
